Athletic Schedules & Information
On Sunday, November 30, 2008, we
will be hosting four boys varsity basketball games in the Butler
High School S.A.C. The game times are:
1:00 - Bethel vs. Northwestern
3:00 - Piqua vs. Springfield Shawnee
5:00 - Tippecanoe vs. Fairborn
7:00 - Butler vs. Miami East
These are known as OHSAA Foundation Games and all proceeds
must be donated to a charity--which will be the American Cancer
Society. This event is in honor of Carrie Roeth, a former
teacher at Murlin Heights Elementary, who passed away from cancer
this summer. These Foundation Games are being organized by Nathan
Chivington, Carrie’s brother and varsity basketball coach at
Fairborn High School.
T-shirts are being sold for this event for $10.00 (click
for order form) and must be ordered by this Friday (November 14)
by calling the Butler Athletic Department (415-6384) or faxing the
order
form to 415-6458. Payment should be made at pick-up.
Admission to all games is $6.00 for adults and $4.00 for students.
Presale tickets are available in the Athletic Office, and again all
proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society.
