H1N1 Updates

Starting November 9, Vandalia-Butler City Schools will offer free H1N1 vaccinations to students at school. The vaccinations are voluntary and will only be given to students who have written parent consent. To be eligible for the vaccine, students must return the H1N1 Influenza Vaccine Consent Form by October 28. Students who return the form after October 28 will not be able to receive the vaccination at school. The consent forms were sent home with students on October 19. The form can also be downloaded by clicking here.

For more information, including the schedule for vaccinations, click here.

The district continues to work closely with Dayton & Montgomery County - Public Health to prevent the spread of flu to the greatest extent possible in our schools. This includes following Public Health’s cleaning and sanitizing procedures.
